Disaster preparedness

In the wake of recent events, museums have learned that museum disaster planning is required to respond effectively in the case of emergencies, natural and man-made. The same applies in the home. The process of emergency preparedness or disaster planning can help protect art and valued items from major events such as floods, fires, or earthquakes, saving us from the painful process of trying to replace something that money can't buy.

Fine art training

My Fine Art training goes back quite a ways now. Aside from an honours degree in Fine Arts and being scholarship recipient for the Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angeles, I've worked & taught in many different countries for some of the most recognized museums & art galleries in the world.
I've been both secretary and president for the New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Material Group, a Winston Churchill fellow, and an avid printmaking fan. I like fine art because it can transcend all walks of life and uplift all people enabling them to look at the world with new eyes. For more about me and my story, check out our about page.
